River Cleanups

Our goal is to have open navigation from the Deansville Wildlife area all the way to the Crawfish River. We have a great partnership with Capitol Water Trails for guidance and grunt as we all work to improve the Maunesha River.

Our cleanup parties are on select weekend days starting at 9am and running until about 1pm, with lunch and conversation following. We meet at one of two different locations depending on the work plan. The locations are marked with an orange car on the map below.

Spot 1: parking lot near Langer Park off of Canal Road

Spot 2: Waterloo Fireman's Park

Check out our Facebook page, our calendar below, or contact us for specific work day details. All skill levels are welcome as there is plenty to do. All you need to bring is you, but feel free to bring whatever equiment you would like. We will have the rest

Interested? Drop us a line at cleanup@mauneshariveralliance.org or just show up. We will welcome you with open muddy arms

Who knows, you might even be able to find out why Paul's eyes were closed in the photo. 😃
